JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) got a call from the president-elect Barack Obama as a transit in the Seattle Tacoma airport on Tuesday (11/25/2008) Indonesia time. President SBY transit in Seattle on his way home to Indonesia after attending the APEC summit in Lima Peru. "I communicate with Barack Obama in the afternoon and evening. According to SBY, Indonesia relations with the U.S. today is very good. In these talks, the President also invited Obama to visit Indonesia next year. "Next year there APEC summit in Singapore, I invite Obama to be able to come to Indonesia," he said.

Meanwhile, Presidential Spokesman Dino Patti Djalal said that telephone conversations between the President with Obama lasts for five minutes. "That was Barack Obama who calls directly to the President," said Dino.
